Montréal's Summer of Gardens

With the Mosaïcultures back at the Botanical Garden, Dale Chihuly?s need-to-be-seen blown-glass sculptures at the MMFA, and the city?s profusion of green spaces, we figured a special issue on gardens was in order. From tiny and tucked-away to giant and jaw-dropping, they?re fantastic spots to sit and think?or not?on a lovely summer day.

Dale Chihuly?s stunning blown-glass sculptures at the MMFA
Must see: Dale Chihuly?s phenomenal blown-glass sculptures on display at the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts (until October 20). While marveling at these organically-shaped, nature-inspired and intensely vivid installations, you?ll get why he?s been dubbed modern day Tiffany. Since you?re there, pop over to the Sculpture Garden on Du Musée Avenue, an open-air ode to art that?s excellent for ambling.
